With over one million American citizens of Romanian descent, our community represents an influential voice in the United States, with the majority embracing the conservative policies championed by the Republican Party. Romanian-Americans have stood firmly with President Donald J. Trump, supporting the movement to restore order at home, strengthen the American economy, and uphold respect for the United States around the world.

We are honored to meet Romanian Republicans and to connect with Romanian Republicans living in the greater Chicago and Detroit areas, building meaningful relationships with fellow Republicans of Romanian heritage across the United States.

Romanians have long been rooted in conservative values, a cultural legacy that has endured for millennia through a rich heritage of tradition, faith, family, and resilience. These principles continue to define our communities today.
Historically, Chicago, Detroit, and New York served as primary destinations for Romanian immigrants, who arrived in waves beginning in the early 20th century and continuing through the post–World War II era and beyond. In these industrial hubs, they established vibrant, enduring communities that have thrived for generations. Orthodox and Protestant Christians—representing the majority of Romanian Americans—have remained united in spirit, supporting one another while preserving their shared cultural identity. Today, these communities stand as vital contributors to American life.
Romanian Americans have built thriving local economies, with many becoming successful entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals who drive growth and innovation in their regions. Just as our ancestors did in the past, we remain committed to shaping a strong future—together. By uniting our conservative principles, entrepreneurial spirit, and deep sense of heritage, we can continue to strengthen both our Romanian American communities and the broader Republican movement across the nation.

Given the inaccurate information circulated in the media, the Romanian Republicans GOP Club issues the following clarifications.
The celebration of Romania’s National Day is an event organized by the Romanian Republicans GOP Club Inc, an organization affiliated with the Republican Party of the United States.
All expenses related to the event were fully covered by the Romanian Republicans GOP Club Inc. Attendance is free of charge and strictly by invitation.
The event is taking place at Mar-a-Lago, President Donald Trump’s residence, known as the “Winter White House”, at the initiative of the organizers, and will bring together dozens of members of the Romanian community from across America, as well as special guests from the hosts’ side.
The Romanian Republicans GOP Club remains available for further information and appreciates the interest shown in this event.
